Dr. Sam Bore’ received his doctorate in Counseling from Texas A&M University – Commerce. He is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a national certified counselor (NCC). In addition to providing counseling services at his private practice, he is an assistant professor at Texas A & M University – Commerce. He has worked in middle schools, high schools, and community agencies since 2002.

Dr. Bore’ has been trained in Cognitive and Solution Focused therapies along with play therapy. In his practice he works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Having been a school counselor for eight years, Dr. Bore’ particularly has extensive experience working with adolescents. In addition, he is specialized in group work and has worked with adolescents and parents in groups. He also runs groups in his practice.

Dr. Bore’ believes counseling can empower individuals to make deliberate choices to achieve their highest potential and live the life they desire.
